In the best traditions of the 80s action trash, Action Jackson 3D is released in 1988, a film about die-hard detective Jeremaine "Action" Jackson, played by Carl Weathers, best known for his roles in the film Predator. When a crime boss (Craig T. Nelson) starts killing his competitors, Jackson finds himself in a series of shootouts, explosions, and brutal hand-to-hand combat. With a variety of era-defining action sequences � showdowns on a constructionsite, fights without rules, buildings collapsing due to a villain - and iconic moments that benefit greatly in 3D (a snow-covered convertible car chase, a steel mill showdown), this film best demonstrates 3D technology. If you like classic cult action movies, you won't be disappointed with this masterpiece in the style of Stallone and Schwarzenegger.
