Batman Returns 3D 1992: Darkness Returns to Gotham Four years after Batman's triumphant return, Gotham City is once again plunged into darkness. Following the events of Batman (1989), where the hero defeated the Joker, the city is trying to return to normal life. But the past does not let go. From the abyss appears the Penguin, an ugly but cunning villain thirsty for revenge for his fate, he wants to take over the city, plunging it into chaos.
