Galaxy Quest 3D is a science fiction comedy released in 1999. The movie was directed by Dean Parisot and was a parody of iconic science fiction series such as Star Trek. The plot of the movie revolves around the cast of the formerly popular TV show �Galaxy Quest� who, many years after its conclusion, become involved in a real space adventure. When aliens, mistaking them for real heroes, ask for their help in fighting a sinister enemy, the actors are forced to use their acting skills and knowledge from the show to save the alien world.The movie received positive reviews from critics and audiences for its wit, acting and nostalgic atmosphere. It starred Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver, Jason Newton, Alan Rickman, Derek Norris and others in the lead roles. �Galaxy Quest� has become a cult film and a favorite among science fiction fans.
